Life imitates art, and this time gets it right!
Recently I showed how the movie version of Shawshank was impossible in the prison where Shawshank was filmed.
Now a couple of prisoners have pulled a different version of the technique in a different prison, with success. No gradual digging with spoons, guaranteed to be detected. They worked FAST with power tools. They cut through the metal back wall of the cell into the maintenance gallery behind the range, cut into a main sewer pipe, then went horizontally under the wall and came up through a manhole. Obviously needed both outside and inside help to learn the layout of the pipes and to smuggle in the power saw.
I'm tempted to say Congrats, but ... oh, fuck it. Why am I hesitating? Why am I bothering to defend the fucking Feds, for fuck's sake? As of now, I have officially switched sides.
