Because a meaningless symbolic "election" is being held today, BBC is forced to avoid its usual more-than-100% cheering for Labour. So it's sticking to foreign stories, which basically means CRUSH PUTIN!
One of the CRUSH PUTIN stories failed.
Apparently Russia is having the same problem as America and some other countries: Doctors won't prescribe enough pain relief for cancer patients, so a considerable number of terminal patients are committing suicide.
Newsreader was talking on phone with BBC's own correspondent in Russia.
Newsreader flatly stated "Russian media are forbidden to talk about this subject." Correspondent said "No, that's not true. Media are talking a lot about this, but info about
methods of suicide is held back by privacy laws."
Newsreader: "Some people might** be surprised by that." Translation: "You'll wish you hadn't said that."
Correspondent went on to say that doctors would like to prescribe more morphine, but drug laws make it extremely difficult.
In other words, it's EXACTLY the same situation as America, except that our media are not bothering to talk about it. The only real difference is that Russian media are more interested in the subject.
Newsreader hastily stopped the conversation before any more truth could escape. No opportunity to CRUSH PUTIN, no story here.

** Any time a leftist starts a sentence with "Some people might", you need to translate it as a command.
