More prison-related idiocy
Since I seem to be focusing on idiocy about criminals....
From a feature on Supermax, where Tsarnaev will likely spend his life:
If Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is spared the death penalty, he will likely spend the rest of his life at the most restrictive prison in America, a place so isolating that has been called a clean version of hell. ... Amnesty International last year said the facility breached international standards for the humane treatment of prisoners.Missing the point as usual. For the intelligent "terrorist" types who end up in Supermax, isolation is not hell. Donne had it right, a hermitage. Isolation is hell for the highly social professionals who end up in the vast majority of jails and prisons. That's why solitary is validly used as extra punishment for prison rule violations, and that's why Satan dba Amnesty/ACLU is trying to get rid of solitary. But Satan dba Amnesty/ACLU is also against isolation in Supermax, and here Satan has gone wrong. Because Satan operates consistently on the genocidal leftist lie that all humans are passive identical dead grains of sand, he is accidentally advocating more punishment for Supermax. This is, of course, strictly contrary to Satan's overriding purpose of turning the whole world into bloody goo. If Satan wants to minimize actual punishment, he should be pushing to leave Supermax exactly as it is. ¶ 3:32 AM
