Steinbeck would approve
Yesterday I rode the bus into downtown to take the Applesatan iPad to a FedEx drop box. I really should make the downtown run more often. Even an extreme introvert needs more contact with varied humanity than I've been getting lately. Feels good.
Downtown around midday is always reliably varied. Seems to be more varied now than the last time I saw it.
Nice little Steinbeckian contrast on the 22 bus. Several scruffy older males and a couple of well-dressed middle-aged businessmen. The scruffies were reading actual books and discussing philosophical topics. One of the well-dressed businessmen spent the whole trip picking his nose and eating it.
Nuff said.
