Not a parody
This parody on First World Problems gets its point across.
I was thinking about it as I heard two simultaneous news items this morning:
(1) Israeli "senator" Diane Feinstein, who has done more than anyone to overfund our spy apparatus, now complains that the CIA has been spying on her "senate" committee. Obviously not a real complaint. Feinstein certainly understands how bureaucracies work in general. She's way inside the intel loop, which means she has known about this spying for a long time and probably ordered it. I'm sure there's a reason for this nonsensical complaint; perhaps CIA wasn't giving her enough profit on its funding. Only trillions instead of the expected quadrillions that a Chosen "senator" automatically deserves and requires.
(2) Here in Spokane, a homeless couple and their dog were sleeping in a dumpster. A trash truck picked up the dumpster and started its compaction cycle. The driver stopped when he heard their screams. Amazingly they survived with fairly minor injuries.
