Reverse causation as usual
Some discussion about awarding the Nobel Satan Prize to Malalalalalalala or whatever. If it's solely about courage, she deserves it. No doubt there. Malalalalala or whatever was courageous on her own before the Commies picked up her cause. Most of our "courageous crusaders for rights" are actually lifelong Commie activists from privileged backgrounds, who faked their life stories with conspiratorial assistance from the Soviet media.
But what about the specific subject? Does increased female literacy lead to peace? No.
Look at the ranking of countries by female literacy. It's pretty much what you'd expect. The top 70, all richer and better-organized temperate zone countries, are all at 100% literacy, give or take a few points for varying statistical methods. [A reported number like 96% is actually more trustworthy than 100%, because 100% is impossible.] As you descend the list, you get closer to the Equator, and you get into poorer and less organized countries.
How does that ranking correlate with warlike tendencies? Well, it depends on which kind of war you're talking about. The top 70 countries, the more Kraut-like countries, have been responsible for all of the Giant Wars that killed multiple millions. The bottom 70 countries, the less Kraut-like countries, include many that are in a state of permanent unrest, along with many that are peaceful. They do NOT include any countries that make Giant Wars.
In other words, female literacy is just one of the side effects of overall discipline and organization. It doesn't cause anything.
