"Science" says
The usual Satanic inverse definition of "science" pops up again.
Via NPR:While Obama has grown more combative in his economic rhetoric, the administration has tried to tiptoe through other political minefields. This week, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius overruled scientists at the FDA who wanted to make emergency contraceptive pills more readily available.
Obama insists he did not try to influence the secretary, but he defended her decision not to allow over-the-counter sales of Plan B pills to adolescent girls without a prescription.
Various Commie journalists say Obama is "letting politics trump science."
Obama is clearly doing this for political reasons. No argument there. But in this case real science AGREES with good politics.
The Commie journalists and FDA "scientists", stupefied by Gaia, hold to their bizarre inverted belief that "ensoulment" is a scientific concept. For journalists and FDA "scientists", just as for
pre-1869 Catholics, the human life begins roughly 40 days after conception, when the soul is injected into the fetus by God's long hypodermic needle. It's not clear how God performed this procedure before needles were invented. Maybe he sent out troops of miniature gnomes carrying bags of souls, and maybe these little gnomes crawled up the mother's vagina and jammed a soul into the 40-day-old fetus, then stole the mother's panties in order to make a profit on the transaction.
For real scientists, and for anyone capable of logical reasoning, the soul is simply an untestable hypothesis at this time. For real scientists, and for anyone capable of logical reasoning, human life begins at the moment when the sperm successfully mixes its chromosomes with the egg's chromosomes. Before that moment you have only sperm and egg. After that moment you have a new individual human life. No other definition is possible.

More seriously, Obama is making all the right moves at this point. He's emphasizing the unquestionable fact that he killed Sheikh Osama, which Clinton and Bush The Son
intentionally failed to do. On taxes he's got the political high ground as well. Maintaining the SS tax cut (though the cut itself is a terrible idea) places the Repooflicans in an untenable position. They have two choices: advocate increasing a tax, which will offend High Priest Grover; or go along with a cut that has The Other Party's Brand on it. Both choices will lose support among the
mindless R-bot partisans, which is dangerous for a party. Parties try to prevent those uncontrollable Independents from voting at all, but parties can't afford to lose their predictable bots.
