Foolish woman
The Persian woman who was blinded and disfigured by a spurned lover had a chance to do the right thing, exacting full revenge on the criminal. At the last minute she pulled back. I guess Islamic women can be damn fools just like Christian women.
Anyway, she's fortunate enough to live under a legal system that understands criminals accurately and scientifically, a system where effective punishments are available.
