Interesting change in survey language
I've been receiving Zogby online polls for a long time. Until today, the questions on environmental issues were very hard to answer.
"Are you concerned about the environment?"
Well, if I say Yes, I'll be counted among the Gaians. If I say No, I'll be dishonest, because I'm hugely concerned about the genocidal unending all-encompassing scorched-earth Gaian holocaust against civilization, science and the human race. Pretty much the only political-type issue I'm concerned about. All else is trivial, sometimes interesting but not critical.
Today's survey was much more detailed and much easier to answer honestly. No broad questions that forced loaded responses, just specific priorities among nuclear, solar, wind, etc. Every question had a choice I could honestly pick.
Is Zogby finally deciding that there are two legally acceptable sides to the climate question? I wouldn't expect them ever to acknowledge that the Official Side is a murderous fraud, but this is a tiny step toward something like objectivity. ¶ 11:11 AM
