The Scottish National Party have just taken Kirkcaldy in Scotland. That means the SNP now have 65 seats and a majority in the Scottish Parliament for the next five years. It is now likely there will be an independence referendum in the next parliament.
The SNP has picked up votes from all of the other three political parties. Labour are currently on 29, the Tories on nine, and the Lib Dems on 4.
