Portland finally gets Commie Avenue
Since I noted an earlier failed attempt, probably should note the success.
Portland's Mexican Commies have been trying for years to get a major street named after Comrade Cesar Chavez. The earlier attempt was focused on the main street in Portland's Chinatown, which was so absurd that even a hard-line Maoist place like Portland couldn't stomach it. Now they've finally found a street that didn't have enough of its own identity to fight back. ¶ 3:25 PM
