The Pope's statement listed specific petitions to be raised during the day of prayer and penance:
for an immediate ceasefire,
for the opening of humanitarian corridors allowing the delivery of humanitarian aid,
for reasonable and responsible negotiations to begin to put an end to objective situations of injustice that exist in that region.

Sorry, Mullah Benny, if you can't tell the difference between civilized and uncivilized people, and if you can't even grasp the concept of "unprovoked attack", you aren't qualified to make moral rules for your own Goddamned self let alone for 1/6 of the world's population.
The phrase 'objective situations of injustice' seems to be his favorite; it sounds Marxist to me, and reminds me of the way we pompous pseudo-intellectual hippies used to talk at SDS meetings back in '69. Mullah XVI may mean something different by it, but I'd bet $100 that "injustice" is shorthand for "continued existence of Jews." ¶ 1:37 PM
