If NASA wants to recover public enthusiasm, it should give up on space exploration (except for military stuff) and focus entirely on controlling earthly weather.
One 'disassembled' hurricane would more than pay for their budget, and would save many lives as well. If they could figure a way to get stalled jet streams moving again, floods and droughts would be less severe. ¶ 8:34 AM
