Parkinson and Parliament
Stressed out from storms and lack of sleep. Convective and probably defective thought:

Parkinson says: In normal organizations the CEO keeps two or three assistants who compete to take his job when he retires. This competition provides both training and selection.

The parliamentary system resonates with this natural arrangement. The prime minister rises through the ranks in Parliament, reaching an office like Whip. In that position he gets consulted and effectively mentored by the current PM. (If the current PM is of the other party, the mentoring is negative, but it's still learning by watching.)

Result: You can switch to the other brand and get a pretested leadership team, ready to run.

The 1776 system never worked right. The single VP wasn't meant to be the assistant and successor; he was only meant to be an emergency substitute. It's no wonder we've had atrocious governance with two or three exceptions.

Our arrangement means that switching to the other brand always brings a wasted (and sometimes dangerous) period of OJT for the president, thus pretty much negating the benefits of switching. The outsider can't get anything done unless he relies on the permanent bureaucracy. They always blackmail and sabotage all efforts toward real change. If the new brand had his own Top Thousand Bureaucrats ready to plug-n-play, the permanent insiders wouldn't be permanent any more.

We really need to delete 1776 and return to Parliament.

  People died?
BBC ran a little interview with two USA college kids, supposedly ready to cast their first vote. One was a serious leftist, the other a Repooflican.

The serious leftist put a little too much weight on his 15 seconds of fame, trying too hard to sound like a pundit. Still, his point was perfectly valid. He isn't planning to vote because Hillary cheated Bernie out of votes. No point in voting for a monster whose job is deleting votes.

The Repoof was a female who is writing in Romney. Couldn't tolerate Trump because sexist homophobe fascist racist transphobe you fill in the other 45,289 cusswords. Obviously a Repoof can't vote for Hillary because Hillary wears a D. So the best choice is Hillary wearing an R, which is Romney.

BBCsatan confronted the non-voting leftist, saying "People died to get you the vote." I turned the radio off at that point, so I don't know if the dude had a good answer. Probably not.

Why does anyone continue to say this instantly disprovable crap? First of all, we don't have the vote in Presidential elections. The electoral college has the vote. It was specifically designed to guarantee total corruption, and it has succeeded beyond the wildest sadistic dreams of the framers.

Second, only two of our many wars were "people dying" for ANY PURPOSE AT ALL. 1776 and 1941. All the other wars were just plain evil, symptoms of infinite psychotic lunacy.

1776 eliminated Parliament, which STILL works pretty well as a feedback mechanism, and replaced it with the crazy USA STRONG system where we DON'T vote for President and CAN'T fire a bad President. Those soldiers died to KILL the vote, not to "get you the vote".

1941 was a genuine defense of our territory against Jap invaders, but it wasn't about voting**. It was about raw basic survival of the nation.

Nobody ever died to guarantee that the corrupt Electoral College will continue to preserve monopolistic insanity.

**WW2 wasn't about voting on either side. The Axis was Germany, Japan and Italy. All three had leaders who were properly elected through real parliaments, not faked or forced. The Allies were USA, UK and USSR. US had the same crazy system then as now; UK had a proper Parliament; and USSR had no elections at all. On balance the Axis was somewhat more "democratic" and "vote-based" than the Allies.

  Natural works
A meta-thought.

The Brexit process, ALL OF IT, shows why Britain's parliamentary system works VASTLY better than the US mess, and shows yet again why 1776 was a giant mistake.

This would still be true if the referendum had favored Remain. I'm talking SYSTEM, not results.

NONE OF IT could happen here. Our dysgovernment would never agree to a national referendum on anything. We've never had a national referendum, and our Presidential "elections" are systematically corrupt. The Electoral College has no purpose but corruption.

The aftermath of Brexit continues to show Parliament's superiority. Prime Ministers are temporary outgrowths of Parliament. When a PM fucks up, his own party will usually fire him and bring up the next man in line, WITHOUT HAVING TO WAIT EIGHT YEARS until the next fake "election". If his own party is slow in firing him, the opposition will call a vote of No Confidence which requires a new election, and a change of national direction, SOON. The mechanism steers out of a skid.

In this case Cameron understood that his reputation was on the line, and when the people voted against his intentions on Brexit, he immediately offered his resignation with proper transition time. If he had tried to stay, his party or the opposition would have fired him. Because he knows the consequences, he picked the cleanest way of quitting. He won't be PM again, but he still has a good future in politics. Leaders are rewarded for doing the right thing.

Parliament is an old and NATURAL system, developed through centuries of ADAPTATION. Therefore it's still the most ADAPTABLE of all systems, the most responsive to negative feedback.

Our system was based on a wildly insane set of false theories about "equality", and stopped adapting in 1803 when the Supreme Demons eliminated Congress. Since then it has grown crazier and crazier, with exactly two semi-lucid intervals forced by undeservedly great leaders FDR and Ike.

  Best argument yet
This year's USA STRONG election is the best argument ever for deleting 1776 and returning to Parliament. Every election is a good argument, but this one is perfect.

Our fucked "system" requires voters in Florida and Ohio to pick a personality instead of an agenda, on behalf of the entire country. If you are a Floridian or Ohioan, and you prefer agenda A over agenda B, but find the personality who fronts agenda A to be untrustworthy or criminal, you have no other choice. You either skip voting or vote for B. After the election everyone, including the 48 states that didn't participate in the choice, is stuck with the result for 8 years. The only way to remove a bad personality OR a bad agenda is assassination.

The Parliamentary system uses personalities as fronts and icons, but pivots on agendas. If you prefer agenda A, you vote for your local representative of party A. Whichever agenda has a majority of the entire country (not just two provinces) gets to pick the personality for Prime Minister. If the PM turns out to be inadequate or criminal, his party can replace him immediately. No election needed. If the country decides that agenda A no longer works, the reps of agenda B can call an election to see if the decision is strong enough to switch agendas. No assassination needed.

We've seen Parliament in action several times lately, especially on the Brexit referendum. The people informed their reps that things needed to change; Cameron felt the pain and called the referendum; when it went the wrong way, his party replaced him with a new PM who was willing to act FOR the will of the people. The new PM isn't moving as fast as I'd like, but nevertheless she IS moving in the correct direction.

None of that can happen in USA STRONG. We're rigidly pinned to suicide and disaster by DeepState. No movement is possible until DeepState finally pisses off Putin sufficiently that he removes our East Coast from the earth.

I'm praying hard for that consummation.

  Signaling a straight turn
Good Romans are having trouble analyzing the current schism. It's a common trouble because schisms are commonly misunderstood.

Basic rule: Schisms are led from the top. Ordinary people are too smart and sensible to turn away from a path that works well, a path that conforms to natural law. Only leaders are stupid and evil enough to turn away; but leaders have the power to put up signs and guideposts that make the turn seem like the only permissible path.

It's easy to see in roads and traffic. When the highway has been following a county road, then turns aside, you have a puzzle.



Polistra wants to continue straight on the county road, but the schismatic leaders have made the unnatural curve look like the 'direct' way. How do you signal for a straight turn? Polistra is trying to indicate her intention, but the signal won't be readable.

Here's a real schism in my neighborhood that shows the full history of schisms.



The current arrangement shows a fully mature schism. The leaders have realigned the corner to ease the puzzlement and hide the reality. You're driving 'directly' ahead on NW Boulevard, and continuing around the curve is clearly the Only Way To Go. But when you follow the curve, you're suddenly on Assembly. The name of NW Blvd seems to be turning left.

Current map shows how it works. Continuing northwestward, you gradually turn north and you're suddenly on Assembly. The name of NW Blvd continues NW, but the corner makes it seem like a left turn.


This 1912 map shows the original arrangement. No puzzlement at all. NW Blvd continued NW, and Assembly was a definite right turn.


In 1940, though the map is unclear, you can see that the turn is already the preferred path:


And here's the modern again to show how the turn has been recast as the 'direct' way.

Schisms almost always follow this sequence. Consider the history of USA STRONG.

The 1776 revolutionaries were TURNING away from the natural-law Parliament, but cast their TURN as the unavoidable direct arrow of history. They set up a new government under the Articles of Confederation, which was only a partial schism from Parliament.

Thirteen years later, SOME of the colonies wanted to SECEDE or schism from the Articles because the Articles made it hard for New York to leverage its small population into maximum power. They created a new system that departed radically from natural and rational government and again cast the hairpin turn as the only direct path.

Fourscore years later, New York robber barons placed their consigliere Lincoln into the presidency. He then SECEDED from the constitution, leveraging the New York version of insecure employment to the whole country for maximum profit and power. The parts of the country that wanted to retain the constitution were cast as the seceders, and Madman Lincoln was then able to satisfy the blood fetish of his New York masters (for a few minutes) by slaughtering 700,000 Deplorables.

Now the Romans are facing a similar problem. Antichrist Bergoglio is TURNING away from God, serving Gaia and her prophet Soros. Because Bergoglio has control of the paving and signage, he's portraying this dramatic TURN as the inevitable direct arrow of history, and the unfortunate Catholics who want to remain Catholic are forced to 'signal for a straight turn', which is an unreadable signal.

  UnTransformed Australia
While Satan uses mob rule and chaos to kill Texas, a parliamentary system leads to a wonderful and sudden DEFEAT OF SATAN in Australia. The Prime Minister can be removed by an internal vote of his own party, and a vote within the Labor Party has just now removed PM Satan! Kevin Rudd will become PM almost immediately, after a very short transition.

This is a FUNCTIONAL system with FUNCTIONAL feedback loops, capable of responding to urgent national needs, capable of removing evil or incompetent leaders quickly. It's even capable of removing Satan herself!

Can't happen here. We're stuck on stupid, 100% paralyzed.

We need to rewind 1776 and return to the British system. Parliament still works sometimes. Our system is national suicide all the time.

  Se-lu 15, Origins edition
Haven't returned to this theme for a while. Now that I'm LOOSE from deadlines for a few days, it's time to hit the point again.

Rehashing the etymology: Solve comes from Indo-European se-lu. Loosen yourself. Untie yourself. Cut the ropes. You can't solve a problem while you're wrapped inside it; you have to cut and untie the assumptions and biases that arise automatically when you're inside.

I've approached this particular point from two angles before, but didn't stand far enough back to finish it.

Make a syllogism from two observations I've discussed often:

1. Unquestionably the 1776 Revolution did more harm than good. The separated twins of Canada and USA STRONG show that Canada's natural Parliament has done a better job of adapting to changed realities. It's not a dramatic NK/SK difference, but it's there.

2. Prison taught me that the people who want freedom most are criminals. Freedom means laws don't apply to me.

THEREFORE: Revolutionaries, emphatically including Washington and Jefferson et al, are criminals.


We glorify the Founding Criminals because they were willing to risk their lives (plus a whole lot of INNOCENT LIVES) for "freedom", especially "freedom" from laws and taxes.

We punish lesser criminals because they're willing to risk their lives (plus a whole lot of INNOCENT LIVES) for "freedom", especially "freedom" from laws and taxes.

What's the difference? NO DIFFERENCE. Null hypothesis validated.

We shouldn't be surprised that USA STRONG has mostly been ruled by mobsters. (With the still mysterious and unexplained exception of 1933 to 1945, when FDR tried to control BOTH of the ruling mobs and succeeded.)

SECURITY IS FREEDOM FROM THE PEOPLE WHO WANT FREEDOM.
