Culp breaks the mold
Loren Culp is running for Congress, aiming at the 2022 election.
In his latest video he predictably knocks Biden for getting out of Afghanistan poorly.
BUT: He then spends most of the time on our endless unwinnable wars. He claims that Trump was trying to end wars, which is dubious since Trump now wants to roar back in with even more war.
I don't really care whether he mischaracterizes Trump. The important point is that Culp sounds more like Ike than Bush, and it's refreshing to see a politician returning to Ike's way of thinking. Culp is a veteran who served in Iraq and then became a policeman. Like Ike, he knows how war really works, and wants us to fight only when it's absolutely necessary.
In his run for governor last year, Culp stuck to his agenda all the way, never wavering and never converging to the norm. He gained trust points by showing consistency and GUTS.
