Trees are alive, and so are humans
Pretty good windstorm today. Here in Spokane the max gusts were only 40 MPH, which normally doesn't do much damage; but the wind was from the NE instead of SW, so it caught trees by surprise. There were a LOT of small one-house or one-block power outages. Most of them are already fixed now, 12 hours after the peak. Avista handled it well.
I suspect most of the outages were branches temporarily shorting wires, not entire trees falling. Avista listed 16 outages in this neighborhood, but no trees are down.
Trees are living things that build their structures to provide IMMUNITY against the stresses they normally experience.
Down south the wind was worse, and an uncontrolled brushfire wiped out the town of Malden.
Now that we have a REAL emergency, will the governor and mayors finally give up their grotesque holocaustal FAKE emergency? Will they stop strangling people and ruining all normal activities?
Silly me! What a profoundly STUPID question. Of course not. They will redouble their holocaust. Mad Bomber Inslee was an experienced arsonist before he took advantage of the "virus" holocaust to serve Lord Bezos. This is like a satanic vitamin for him.
