Old analogy looks especially apt now
Here's a sloppy analogy. I've made the overall point often, and the analogy seems especially apt now.
Normal public health tries to PREVENT epidemics by controlling travel and watching the travellers from places where epidemics are occurring. When an epidemic is known to come from a specific place, travellers from that place are locked OUT entirely.
Normal economic health tries to PREVENT depressions by controlling the flow of money and watching money from places where economic crimes are occurring. The Soviet system was the best at preventing depressions because it LOCKED OUT stock markets entirely, and carefully controlled foreign investment from countries where the epidemic of Share Value was roaring.
FDR was practicing normal economic health, though he had to start late. He slowed down the depression by LOCKING OUT bankers entirely, then carefully reopening banks after disinfecting them. He then placed the psychopaths under strict and serious control from SEC, so they couldn't start ruining us again. He DIDN'T shut down honest business; instead he provided JOBS for the people who had already been shut down by the bankers. The WPA and CCC were building the infrastructure for REAL BUSINESS that had been neglected while the banks were running up the exponential fake debt-boom in the late 20s.
This viral epidemic was able to spread because most countries had abandoned the LOCKOUT aspect of normal public health. WHO insisted that we must KILL EVERYONE, and also prohibited countries from closing down world travel. Some countries controlled travel from China anyway, and had better success, which ISN'T SURPRISING.
Since 1980 we've also been doing the exact opposite of normal ECONOMIC health. Instead of LOCKING OUT the bankers, we've been gradually shutting down all real business and opening up every single channel to total control by psychopaths like Soros and Bezos.
The "virus" lockdown is simply the last stage of this total inversion of normal ECONOMIC health.
