Defective headline in Eurekalert:

Since I'm in proofreading mode this week, I'll fix the typo.
Humanity's greatest risk: scientists
I'm deadly fucking serious. Scientists are designing and running CIA torture chambers. Scientists are "informing" the euthanasia and eugenics laws that kill heretics. Scientists are running the environmental movement that destroys all real industry and skills, leaving the bankers in full control. Scientists are running LHC with the noble goal of obliterating the entire universe.
If those aren't risks, I don't know what is.
Many scientists are not participating in those omnicidal monstrosities, but they're not OPPOSING the monsters, so they're passively lending their consent. The public can't tell the difference.
