Lost the habit?
We're 10% of the way into 2020, and I still haven't heard anyone refer to the decade as the Twenties. We just passed through two nameless decades. The '00s never did have a proper name. The '10s were sometimes called the Teens in the previous century, but the habit of naming decades didn't properly start until the Roaring Twenties.
Now we have no excuse for not using the name. Apparently we're out of the habit and won't resume.
