Contradiction
Interesting contradiction.
1. When all the media demons are blasting the same story, it means Deepstate wants everyone to pay attention. Everyone is supposed to argue about this story, and everyone is supposed to take either Side A or Side B. Deepstate doesn't care which side you take because Deepstate runs both sides and knows which side wins. The goal is maximal chaos and war. No conscientious objectors, no neutrals, no playing outside the lines.
2. BUT: When we have a media event titled "election", Deepstate wants the opposite. Media demons work hard to drive people away from the subject entirely. The goal is to prune both "sides" stringently, leaving only the reliable partybots.
