Strange resurrected!
Why didn't I notice this earlier? Jeff Hix, a young descendant of the Hix family, brought back the franchise in 2011. He has the unique advantage of access to the internal archives preserved by the family. His Youtube channel includes short features in the spirit of the original radio show. Jeff narrates instead of dramatizing, but otherwise the flavor and range of subjects are the same.
Bravo!
Looks like Jeff lost interest in the project after a couple years, but he created an admirable body of 'new old stock' work in those two years.
