Yet more idiocy about Assange
Aaarrgghh. They're still at it, those "independents", yammering about the vital role of a "free" "press" in guarding "democracies" against "corruption".
Total nonsense. We don't need news about national shit. Even if any of it was true, it wouldn't help us to live our lives. We do need news about approaching weather and crime. In the modern era, some places are lucky enough to have forums or pages on NextDoor and Facebook that serve this real purpose. Most don't.
Does a free press lead to better government? HELL NO. The exact opposite. It's a STRONG NEGATIVE CORRELATION.
Which countries have switched from bad government to HIGHLY competent government in this decade? Russia, Italy, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico.
Among those, only Italy has a "free" "press" as normally defined. The others have various levels of official censorship. They gained a new excellent government WITHOUT any help from the media.
Most of the countries with "free" "media" by the usual definition are drowning in Sorosian suicide and despair, with no visible chance of improvement.
True independents who want to achieve decent government in the Sorosian countries need to STUDY how Putin and Salvini and AMLO got into office. The methods are undoubtedly different, per the cultures and structures of each country. The one thing we know FOR FUCKING SURE is that the media will HALT AND MURDER all attempts at improvement. You need to stay under the media's radar.
