Really dumb dream
I was looking at a display window where somebody was getting ready to demonstrate a new rotary-valve engine, renewing a technology that was tried by Elcar in 1930 but apparently never produced. I was eager to hear how it sounded, and I was trying to gather some other people to hear it. As the engine was about to start up, the dream scripter ABRUPTLY changed the channel to a scene where my father was getting ready for wildfire season by marking the trees and structures that would be worth watering and saving, and putting NO on the trees and structures that could be allowed to burn. (This systematic behavior was correct for the character, but 'wildfire season' doesn't belong in Oklahoma.)
Come on, dream scripter. You can do better than this!
Later thought: What would the rapture visionaries do with the second channel of the dream? It has a familiar ring....
