More solipsism
More outside-reality "thinking" from Trump. His empty promise of a bonus to teachers who carry is doubly misplaced.
First, a paycheck falls into the jurisdiction of teacher UNIONS. Teacher UNIONS are foul partisan bigots who will automatically reject anything Trump proposes. Even if Trump seriously proposed a million dollar bonus for ALL teachers, and got Congress to implement it, teacher unions would force teachers to send back the dirty money.
Second, real TEACHERS aren't primarily motivated by money, and a thousand wouldn't make much difference.
Here's a MEANINGFUL bonus: An ironclad promise to DEFEND the teacher in court against the inevitable barrage of lawsuits from Soros NGOs, ACLU, teacher UNIONS, the teacher's own school system, the city dysgovernment, the state dysgovernment, and the federal black-robed demons.
Build a giant legal SWAT team with the hardest and fiercest litigators available, pay them several billion per minute to override their anti-Trump "scruples", and keep them ready to defend any teacher at a moment's notice. Set it up as a quasi-private contractor like the war mercenaries who do most of our fighting.
