Transitional enemy
Following on previous item.
At the moment it appears that Current Enemy is in a state of transition. Government is still killing Muslims and Arabs by the millions in other countries. Media is solely and strictly focused on Russia. Government has been making war against parts of the Russian Empire, but not yet directly against Russia. NATO forces have been pushing and taunting Russia ever since Putin removed Emperor Soros. Our war in Ukraine is a more direct advance of the Sorosian Restoration.
The one step we haven't taken yet is defining Russians as terrorists. We're approaching this goal indirectly as well, treating heretical media outlets as terrorist supporters. So far this is the usual Mafia business, with Connected media using "laws" as a weapon to eliminate competition from non-Connected media.
Normally the Eastasia/Eurasia flip happens INSTANTLY for maximum whiplash value. Tyrants are digital. It's unusual to have a gradual analog transition.
