It's been a long time since Polistra bothered to hope for more nuclear power. I had to go back to Nov 2009 to find a picture showing hope.
Obama, despite making lots of Green noise, allowed new nuke construction to start in a few places.
Now Trump, despite making lots of non-Green noise, allows nuke construction to halt entirely.
Finland's sanity is especially notable. Finland joins the rest of EU in making anti-Russian noise ... which Finland can justify more than USA STRONG or the rest of EU, since Finland was actually invaded by Russia in 1940 ... but when it comes to practical COMMERCIAL life, Finland prefers to deal with SANE COMPETENT countries. If noise has to switch to action, Finland isn't going to break its beneficial relationship with SANITY.

Two South Carolina utilities have abandoned a pair of next generation nuclear reactors that would have been America's first new atomic reactors in almost 40 years. The facilities were expected to be safer and cheaper.Meanwhile Finland is getting a brand-new nuke plant built by Russia:
SCANA Corp and state-owned utility Santee Cooper, the two utilities which own the VC Summer twin-reactor project, announced Monday that they were scrapping the multi-billion dollar project due to construction problems and cost overruns.
