Distinction disappeared
Traditional propagandists made a distinction between two types of takeover.
When the conqueror wanted the takeover to be peaceful, propaganda extolled the advantages of joining the conqueror and painted a rosy picture of our lifestyle, so that you would be inclined to adopt it without resistance. In the 60s USA and USSR used this approach in opposite directions.
When the conqueror was just about ready to roll in the tanks, propaganda was hateful and contemptuous, ordering immediate surrender and promising death for resisters.
Parallel to courtship vs rape or con-game vs armed robbery.
Modern Sorosian propagandists have abandoned the first form entirely. When speaking to Deplorables or to Russia, there is no attempt to create a pleasant picture of life for obedient subjects. It's a simple promise of genocide. You will die. That's all.
