Need a new metaphor
ZH is mocking the latest "objective" hire by Sorosian media...
"Josh Earnest, White House Press Secretary under President Obama we're pleased to announce is joining us a political analyst. Now you have to wear your analyst hat, not your Democrats hat."
Question: What does a Democrat hat look like? What does an analyst hat look like?
Answer: Analyst hats and Democrat hats are identical. Null set. Nonexistent.
Democrats DON'T wear hats because blue-collar people DO wear hats. Trump, who understands branding even if he doesn't understand much else, made a BIG point of wearing a hat during the campaign. He wanted to associate himself with the blue-collar brand.
Everyone wore hats in the '50s, and everyone knew how to use hats as social symbols. JFK broke the habit for Dems, and nobody ever resumed it.
