No rock, no roll
Trivial point, vaguely related to analog vs digital.
Too much technology ruins your skills. I'm noticing young neighbors driving nice SUVs, all-wheel drive, rugged snow tires, spending 10 minutes going weedli weedli weedli weedli weedli.
Why?
They don't know how to rock. They just put it in D and stomp the gas. Over and over and over. Stomp, stomp, stomp. Weedli, weedli, weedli.
No sense of rhythm or resonance. When you learn to drive on a plain old American car with RWD and no snow tires, you learn to rock.
