Not really complaining
If you can't inflate by dilution or by shrinking the product, you have to get smarter. Palmolive is smart.
A couple years ago they changed the cap on their dish detergent from popup to flopover. Nominally this was because the popup cap tended to clog. In fact it's because the popup cap slowed down the flow of liquid. The new cap always lets more liquid out, which means you use up the container faster.
Now they've switched from green to colorless, nominally for 'clean and clear' or something. In fact the clear liquid is harder to see, so you inevitably output more liquid for each use. Cute.
However: the new clear liquid smells NICE, so I'm not really complaining. Good smells are damned rare in this smoke-free perfume-free world.
