Nope, still wrong.
Newt and others want to screen out believers in sharia law. Idiotic.
As always, following the old insane "all humans are identical" shit, which forces government to judge your THOUGHTS instead of your ACTIONS and AFFINITIES.
This war, like all wars, is a gene war. Sheikh Osama stated it clearly. He was the champion of the ARABS, using Islam as fuel. Islam is a weapon, not the casus belli.
Underneath the surface crap, it's simple. Britain and USA STRONG have been pushing Arabs around since 1920, and ESPECIALLY since 1990. Arabs are fighting back. Some other Muslim groups (eg Afghans and Chechens) are joining in AS ETHNIC GROUPS, because they also feel that the Western powers have been attacking and invading them for 100 years.
Genes rule.
On a practical level, belief tests simply DO NOT WORK. We tried an equally stupid belief test in the early '50s to fakely "fight" Communism. Loyalty oaths weren't even a speed bump for actual Soviet agents, and loyalty oaths unnecessarily insulted millions of men who had just finished laying down their lives for America in WW2 and Korea.
