The rest was paywalled, but I didn't need to see the rest. I can write it without looking. Same old murder. Nationalist voters are defective senile nostalgic old retards who are Threatened By Change.
Well then. What about the bright enlightened progressive YOUTHS who voted overwhelmingly for Remain in the Brexit referendum? They were explicitly Threatened By Change, and said so loudly. THEY WANTED THE STATUS QUO. Just like the serial-killer author of the murderous article does. He likes things JUST THE WAY THEY ARE.
What do us wrinkly seniles and poor Negative Externalities want? WE WANT CHANGE. WE HATE THE STATUS QUO. WE ARE RADICALS.
Same vs Change is NOT the correct variable. When you try to use it, you get all sorts of nonsense and contradictions.
The correct variable is the simple and direct one. We have a CHOICE between two ways of running a country. Globalism benefits 1% and kills 99%. Nationalism distributes benefits somewhat more equally.
The decision isn't Same vs Change, it's TOTAL EVIL vs GOOD ENOUGH.
