The Klein bottle
The West (EU/UK/US) is in a peculiar predicament right now.

All the insiders are outsiders, and all the outsiders are insiders.

Look at the American elites. The Bush and Clinton dynasties and their helpers like McCain, Romney and Obama. They are traitors. They serve foreign masters. China, Saudi, Israel. The weighting of specific foreign nations varies somewhat over time, but it's always those three.

I could detect the outsideness easily with Bill. I wanted to see him impeached for serving China, not for fucking Monica. The idiot Repoofs continued to play the Monica game because they were also serving China and couldn't afford to let the dispute focus on treason.

For some reason I stopped seeing the outsideness with Bush The Son; probably because I got addicted to cable TV around that time and fell into partisan stupidity. Gained a false sense of being an insider. The Dubai port fiasco forced me out of the bubble, forced an accurate view.

The elites are stuck inside their bubble of delusion. They jet around the world, occupying many different physical locations, but always talking with other elites. The world outside their bubble does not exist. They are around the world but not in the world.

Now examine the ordinary citizens of EU/US/UK. We are insiders in terms of national identity and boundaries. We understand that humans and houses and bathrooms and cities and nations need borders. Sometimes physical walls or fences, sometimes gradients of money and status and "laws" and approval; but always a boundary. We are not rich enough to live in 20 places at once as the elites do. We're getting poorer by the day, more firmly stuck, more pinned to our countries and cities.

The elites treat us as outsiders, literally and etymologically EGREGIOUS and OUTSIDE THE PALE. They call us XENOPHOBIC because we dislike the infinite foreign-ness and strangeness of the elites.
