Is this the only invalid conspiracy theory?
Lately we've seen a lot of supposed "conspiracies" turning out to be true. Some are verified by newly revealed facts, others that were genuinely false before are now genuinely true.

One VERY POPULAR theory that still doesn't make any sense is the chemtrail crap, which has been renamed geo-engineering. I didn't realize its popularity until the long power outage in November. With my usual OTR entertainment gone, I had to use AM radio for night-time noise and fake "conversation". Three shows were available: Glenn Beck, McCain's idiot lezzie daughter, and the successor to Art Bell. Beck and McCain got tiresome quickly; they were simply pushing Cruz and nothing more. Ended up with Art's show. The last time I'd heard it was in the mid-90s, before computer-based entertainment was practical.

I have to interrupt here for a GIANT BURST OF GRATITUDE to all the collectors and purveyors of old radio shows. Post-1990 media, whether "right" or "left" or "neutral", is intentionally brain-crunching. Those old shows, especially before 1956, stayed strictly within the bounds of civilization and natural law, never attempting to twist and snap your moral sense.

Resuming: Back in the 90s, Art Bell made a strong point of forbidding the chemtrail people. I didn't understand why. Now that Art's successor has rescinded the ban, I can see why. Those chemtrailers are INTENSE. They never stop. They call into every possible show on every possible subject and turn it into chemtrails. Unfortunately a lot of them are in Spokane, so when you hear a call from Spokane on any radio show, even a show about dogs, it's going to end up in chemtrails.

Why is this theory so completely absorbing? It doesn't even try to explain very much, and it requires a lot of hand-waving to connect it up to reality.

You don't need to look to the skies to see real conspiracies. Just look at your paycheck, or lack of same. Look at the closed stores and the empty shelves in the few open stores. Globalization in all its forms is the only conspiracy that matters. Immigration, outsourcing, permanent war, total debt, share value, LBOs, ZIRP, QE. All of these crimes work together to kill the poor and enrich the Chosen. The authorities instantly demonize and discredit anyone who questions any part of this all-consuming project.
