Donald Trump outlined his plans for stopping companies from moving jobs out of the U.S. Saturday night: He would build consensus with Congress to impose taxes on corporations that offshored jobs. "I would build consensus," the Republican and former real estate mogul said during the South Carolina presidential debate. "But consensus means you got to work hard, you have to cajole, you have to get them into the Oval Office and get them all together — and you have to make deals."Taxing demons is superficial and won't work. Shooting is the only effective cure for demons. When every CEO knows that he and his "husband" and his friends, and the corporate board or LBO-holder and all the "husbands" and friends thereof, will be hunted down and exterminated, he may hesitate to import foreign labor or foreign-made shit. And getting Congress to tax the demons won't work either, unless Trump builds a massive blackmail system BEFORE taking office. Congress is already owned by the demons, and won't act contrary to the demons unless each member can see 100 times the THUGPOWER on the other side. Executive orders, backed by bullets, are the only effective method. Look at Egypt. Poor Morsi thought he could beat back the Deep State with "democracy" and "moral suasion". Now he's in jail and all his followers are dead and the Deep State came roaring back with multiple ferocity. It's possible that The Trump Organization has sufficient THUGPOWER. Operating successfully in Jersey and Vegas requires THUGPOWER. Maybe Trump is holding back his sleeve card. But I'd feel more confident if he indicated that he was prepared to operate DC with Jersey methods. "Consensus-building" is not a Jersey method.
