Skimming over the "news", I bumped into the headlines in an Indonesian website.
Seribu Island Officials Mutated?????
Hey! That's an excellent idea. We need to mutate all of our officials. Like non-stinging mosquitoes or bats that don't carry rabies. GMO = Genetically Modified Officials, incapable of perpetrating tyranny and insanity.
Unfortunately, mutated is just a specialized Indonesian term meaning "promoted or rotated". The article is about the benefits of moving bureaucrats around so they understand various parts of their agency.
