Econ indicator
Washington's toadies constantly spread the idea that Russia has collapsed.
Even without any internal econ stats, one little fact that popped up in today's news kills that nonsensical idea.
In the wake of the Russian airliner crash, Britain has started hauling back its citizens who were on holiday in Egypt. About 25000 Brits need to be pulled out.
Now Russia has decided to do the same thing. According to BBC just now, 80000 Russians need to be pulled out.
Hmm. That's MORE than Britain on a per capita basis. Russia's pop is 2.25 x Britain, and the Egypt tourists are 3.2 x Brits. Obviously tourists in one location aren't the only indicator of prosperity, but by this indicator Russia beats Britain.
