Non-barking Friedan
Odd lack of media focus.
UK Telegraph gives
top-row coverage to a letter written by a young "engineering student" who manages to puke out with exquisite precision all the toxic Die-Versity ratshit that TV and social media and Die-Versity classes have been stuffing into his unfortunate little brain. Perfect product of a perfectly fucked "culture". Norman Lear and Betty Friedan's wet dream. Needless to say, social media and Die-Versitarians are squealing in demonic delight.
Why odd focus? This youngster is a student at EWU, and his letter was written to the EWU campus paper. EWU is in Cheney, part of the Spokane metro area, and some of the engineering classes are in the Spokane Riverpoint campus.
So this is a completely local "event".
But none of the local media even mention it. It's not on the websites of the TV stations or the newspaper.
Showing good taste for once? Proper sense of priorities and importance? Avoiding publicity for a juvenile indiscretion? Probably not. By their standards this isn't an indiscretion.
In any case, I hope this unfortunate youngster learns something about reality before he makes a lethal mistake. Engineers need to be free of delusions, and most of them are.
