UKIP: Toldja
British "election" shows that UKIP didn't go very far. I tried to tell them.

LATER: CANCEL. Not a victory. Carswell intends to make UKIP into just another Goldman label, just another identical servant of Satan. He was elected on a SPECIFIC platform of CONTROLLING immigration. His first speech WELCOMES immigration. Basically "Thanks for voting me in, you nasty bigots. Thought you were getting a representative for the first time in history, didn't you? HA! GOTCHA!"
BBC loves Carswell's speech. Tells you fucking all you fucking need to fucking know. Absolute fucking betrayal, pure treason.

No surprise. When you are offering a firm decisive difference from normal insane ratshit, you need to STAY firm and decisive. You can't surrender every time you start to gain ground.
More broadly, this election shows yet again that even in a time of raw insanity the British political system works better than ours. Parties have leaders, and leaders actually QUIT when their party fails. This opens the door for real changes of direction. Our "parties" don't have leaders, and NOBODY ever quits. The same grotesque dynastic monstrosities just keep on going and going and going and going and going and going regardless of wins or losses.
