Looks like somebody on the night shift at NBC was having fun.
When I clicked on the headline, it was properly about Kim, not about Holmes. Must have been corrected from the earlier fun version.
This isn't a typo; it's more like a topico or a subjecto. We need words for errors at that level, since more than 100% of our "news" is intentional error.
For instance: Why is the "almost totally white jury" bad? You falsely believe "jury of your peers" is in the constitution, so you shouldn't worry about this. Holmes is totally white.
