Non-messages
Seems to be an odd correlation between Sending A Message and crashing to the ground. It's been visible in suicides for a long time. Bridge-jumpers intend to Send A Message to all those who bullied them. Pill-takers just want to end their own lives.

Lately we've seen a lot of aircraft-based Messages. Sheikh Osama used aircraft to Send His Message. Lubitz took 150 people with him as he Sent His Message. Now we have a non-lethal Message sent via gyrocopter.

These Messages are not really messages in the proper sense.

A proper message contains information that can be acted on. When your employer sends you a message with the deadline for the current project, you speed up your work. When a cat sends you a hiss-growl message, you back off. When the city sends you a message that you owe $56.21 for this month's water and sewer, you write a check.

None of these airborne Messages will yield the desired actions. Most of them will result in the exact opposite. If you're a bully, you're not sorry you bullied the dead LOSER LOSER LOSER NYAH NYAH NYAH. His jump was a success for your procedures, so you will continue your evil work with renewed vigor. Sheikh Osama's Message told USA STRONG to stop bullying Arab countries. If you're USA STRONG you're not sorry and you won't stop. You'll redouble your efforts and invent new forms of bullying.

This latest gyrocopter message to Congressmonsters isn't even information in the Shannon sense, let alone info that can be acted on. It's not news to anyone. Congressmonsters already know that their job is to starve the poor and enrich the super-rich. That's fucking why they fucking took the motherfucking job, so they could starve the poor and enrich the super-rich.

It's like warning a barber that he is cutting hair, or warning a plumber that he is unclogging pipes, or warning a doctor that he is diagnosing and treating diseases.

Oh! I didn't realize that I was doing those horrible things! I wouldn't have entered this profession if I had only known what you just told me! Now that I've seen the light, I'll apologize and stop doing those horrible things!

Plain fact: If you are Goldman, politicians already have your message. If you are NOT Goldman, you do not exist. Don't waste your time and money and life by sending non-informational and non-consequential Messages. Just keep your fucking head down and enjoy your life.
