Do you trust them to drive your car?????
Supposedly the purpose of a web news aggregator service is to sort out the chaff. This sorting always has a Satanic political slant, just as regular newspapers always have a Satanic political slant. But under the Satan, journalism still has basic standards of good writing.
Google's news aggregator is slipping badly on the latter front. Some sections are purely filled with those odd not-quite-English subaggregators. These mysterious sites are awful human translations from non-English sources, often with long stretches of the unaltered original popping through. Clearly intended solely to grab clicks, not to convey information.
Either Google's editing algorithms can't tell the difference, or these sites are paying Google for 'front-page' service.
