ZIRP = Sharpton
This is a wild thought but it makes sense from a Goldman perspective.
Big question: Why is Al Sharpton allowed to do what he does? Why does he have a comfy perch in TV while he starts riots, burns cities, and kills cops?
Chain of logic:
(1) The people who run MSNBC are the same people who run the financial industry.
(2) 50 years ago those financial leaders were firmly opposed to riots because riots ruined their factories. They did everything to prevent riots, using both metaphorical carrots and literal sticks.
(3) Now they
like riots and pay Sharpton to keep the cities burning.
(4) Aha! Factories! 50 years ago financial leaders owned those factories, so they wanted American working-class employees, white and black, to be stable and satisfied. Now the financial leaders HATE the idea of putting factories in America because Our Lord And Savior
Share Value [pbuh] is maximized by factories in Bangladesh and China.
(5) So they want to make American factories an aversive and impossible thought. They want to guarantee that no maverick financier breaks the spell by reinventing
Social Economics as in NCR or Marland or Mohammed. If a maverick starts the trend, others may decide to try the idea, leading to a loss of power and a slight decrease of infinite wealth acceleration for the financiers.
In other words, Al Sharpton and ZIRP and EPA are three flanks of the same scorched-earth policy. Prohibit money from seeking ANY sort of productive investment. No savings, no industry. Go directly to Goldman. Do not pass Ford.
