Education CAUSES crime
Few days ago I wrote a
silly item about the first and only crime that
might have been prevented by education. With a better knowledge of chemistry, a murderer might not have believed he could melt the body with Drano, and might have chosen not to start the crime at all.
Now we have a perfectly serious news item about a crime that was
aided by education. An arsonist started two dozen fires in the eastern part of the Spokane metro area. Two of those fires destroyed brand new houses; the others were fortunately stopped before they became major wildfires.
Tips from public led to tracing the suspect's car.
Suspect is a teenager who used
knowledge acquired in chemistry class to perfect his arson techniques!
