The jobs training program is among a host of initiatives the White House says will cut carbon dioxide emissions by more than 300 million tons through 2030, plus save billions of dollars on energy bills for homeowners and businesses. It will launch this fall at one or more military bases and train a total of at least 50,000, including veterans.50,000 veterans to be drafted and trained in EPA terrorism. Experienced warriors, to be trained on military bases where security is strict. In a sane country with a sane opposition party, the opposition party would at least be WORRIED about a fucking plan like this. What is our so-called "opposition" "party" worried about? Astonishingly and disgustingly, the only thing on their alleged "minds" is Benghazi. Filthy little mincing prancing fagboys. Useless blobs of salmonella-infected chickenshit. We're fucked. = = = = = Later: Now we have another parallel. We have "lone wolf" EPA Terrorists in parallel with supposed "lone wolf" Islamic terrorists.
Gonzalez reemerged in dramatic fashion Friday when he briskly scaled a fence at the White House and sprinted across the lawn, making it through the north doors before being tackled by Secret Service agents.... He told a Secret Service agent that "he was concerned that the atmosphere was collapsing and needed to get the information to the president of the United States so that he could get the word out to the people."Since EPA does deploy actual wolves as part of its total-chaos mission, "lone wolf" is an especially apt metaphor.
Polistra was named after the original townsite of Manhattan (the one in Kansas). When I was growing up in Manhattan, I spent a lot of time exploring by foot, bike, and car. I discovered the ruins of an old mill along Wildcat Creek, and decided (inaccurately) that it was the remains of the original site of Polistra. Accurate or not, I've always liked the name, with its echoes of Poland (an under-appreciated friend of freedom) and stars. ==== The title icon is explained here. ==== Switchover: This 2007 entry marks a sharp change in worldview from neocon to pure populist. ===== The long illustrated story of Polistra's Dream is a time-travel fable, attempting to answer the dangerous revision of New Deal history propagated by Amity Shlaes. The Dream has 8 episodes, linked in a chain from the first. This entry explains the Shlaes connection.
