Good analogy after all
Listening to "news" about the government "shutdown", I tried to make an analogy. What if I closed down my own household and stopped paying bills because of an ... internal dispute???
Huh? How could that happen? Well, I could pretend that Polistra and Happystar disagree about the electric bill because Happystar provides his own illumination. Or I could pretend that Lady Danbo doesn't want to pay the property tax because she sleeps outside in her own little house.
But of course these "people" are purely imaginary cartoon characters, in total contrast to the Repooflicans and Democrats who are ....
Aha! No, it's not different at all. It's an excellent analogy.
What are those DC Comics characters arguing about? Well, BatRepooflican refuses to approve the health care system designed by BatRepooflican, while DemoRobin insists on enforcing the health care system designed by BatRepooflican. That's the dispute.
See what I mean? Purely imaginary cartoon characters. Actual humans couldn't possibly behave so bizarrely.
