Thanks for proving his point
As the Snowden soap opera continues, we find that some Euro countries have refused to land a plane containing Evo Morales of Bolivia. Hmm. Wonder how those countries decided to block the plane? I'm pretty sure it didn't carry a flashing sign saying "SNOWDEN ON BOARD". Could they have determined that Snowden was on the plane by .... gasp ... spying? By ... even more gasp ... electronic surveillance? Or ... gasp to end all gasps ... by receiving electronic surveillance info from America???????
Of course not. Euro countries are sinless. EU is Goddess and Merkel is her prophet. EU countries are pure as the [carbon-neutrally] driven snow. They do not read other gentlemen's mail.

Snowden hasn't revealed any secrets. He has only published what all sentient humans have known for many decades. But he has done one tremendous favor for reason and logic: he has made it impossible for idiot leaders to insult our intelligence. Now that the facts have been slapped in everyone's face, and the response by the US government has guaranteed the accuracy of the facts, nobody can get away with the old "sources and methods" shit.
