Damn. If there are any Christians remaining in the Anglican bathhouse, they had better clear out fast, and join one of the Africa-based Anglican missions.
In case the basic point is not clear, here is the basic point, in strictly secular form, with no theology or theory.
By definition a church or a religion does not follow current fashion. A church or a religion represents permanent principles of morality, and works to oppose current fashion when current fashion is immoral. If a religion follows current fashion, it has ceased to be a religion. It may be a fine mutual admiration club for super-rich criminals, but it is no longer a religion.
