Old Buchanan lays out the facts on Persia in a remarkably clear and rigorous way.
Basically: If Persia wants war with the West, it knows goddamn well how to start such a war. Since Persia has not started such a war, we can conclude that Persia does not want war with the West.
Strongly echoes Robert Taft's rigorous logic on the Soviet "threat", as heard in this 1952 CBS segment contrasting Truman with Taft.
(Buchanan doesn't say this, but I have to add: Persia hasn't started a war with ANYONE in 1300 FUCKING YEARS. That's a pretty good indication of a non-aggressive tendency, wouldn't you say?)
Well, who wants war? Israel and its US slaves want war.
