Learn from Our Onslow
Watching the idiotic green dominos fall one after another. Solyndra, Fisker electric cars, wind "power" in Britain and Germany, and so on. They never had a valid business; they always depended solely on gov't subsidies and they knew it. But they didn't allow for the wonderful ways of Nature. These welfare queens were not simply taking tax money; they were using it to displace and destroy real business. Now there isn't enough surplus value to support the subsidies, so the subsidies are drying up.
These green welfare queens could have learned something from Our Onslow, head of a permanent welfare family. Our Onslow made a point of reading serious newspapers, keeping up with news of the economy and the strength of the Pound.
Our Rose asks: "Why is Onslow reading the Financial Times?"
Our Onslow replies: "I like to keep an eye on the economy. A bloke in my position has to wonder how long the country can afford him. If we don't get the economy right, people like me are gonna be in trouble!"
